SALES POLICY

J&M Supply is a wholesale distributor of ATV and UTV parts who sells to dealers in the Powersports Industries.

We do not sell our products through retail channels.

NEW DEALERS

J&M Supply sells only to dealers in the Powersport Industry who provide us with proof that they are a legitimate business establishment. Contact customer service for a dealer application. No buy-in or stocking order is required. A minimum of $100 of quarterly sales is required to maintain active dealer status.

ORDER & DELIVERY

Dealers can order product in three ways:

Please have your dealer number, part number, and quantity ready when you call.

In most cases orders placed by 4:00 PM CST ship the same day.

ADD-ONS

We will make every attempt to process additional items to an order placed earlier in the day. This is one of the extra services we provide to our valued customers. This is done as a courtesy but cannot be guaranteed.

DROP SHIPMENTS

We will try to accommodate your needs and ship directly to your customer when requested. Drop ship orders must be billed to an open account (see open accounts) or prepaid with a credit card. There is a small service charge added to all drop shipments. There may be additional charges for oversized/overweight items and products that contain hazardous materials.

BACKORDERS

We do not hold or ship backorders without customer authorization. A sales representative will notify you when the item is available.

If you would like it to be shipped at that time, we will do so subject to normal ordering terms.

CLAIMS

Title to merchandise passes to the customer when the order is accepted by the carrier.

Claims must be filed as follows:

Damaged Merchandise:

All claims for damaged merchandise must be filed with the carrier. If there is evidence of damage upon delivery, please have the carrier record this at the time of delivery.

Shortage:

If cartons are missing, you must file with the carrier, as they are responsible.

If items are missing within a carton and the carton is damaged (holes, etc.), file with the carrier.

If there is no external damage, please contact us. You must notify us within 5 days, and please have your dealer and invoice number.

FREIGHT

J & M Supply has a tiered prepaid freight policy on qualified merchandise and reserves the right to choose the most economical method of shipping. Some products are not eligible for free freight due to weight and/or size, special handling requirements, or containing hazardous materials. Please contact your sales representative with any freight policy questions.

RETURNS

All returns must have prior authorization and an RMA number. To obtain an RMA number please call your sales representative and provide him with the invoice number, part number, and the reason the merchandise is being returned.

 

  1. Returns that are a result of our error, a credit or replacement will be issued plus reimbursement of any freight charges incurred.
  2. Merchandise returns for ordering errors are subject to a 20% restocking fee and must be in original packaging and in new and saleable condition. No returns are allowed on items purchased over 6 months, special orders, closeouts, or discontinued items.
  3. Defective items- see WARRANTIES.

 

The restocking fee may not be charged on a stock rotation order placed on the same business day of the return.

WARRANTIES 

J & M will warranty our house brand of Wide Open products. Other brands distributed by J & M may carry a manufacturer’s warranty. Customers are responsible for adhering to each specific manufacturer’s warranty policy. Customers are responsible for any necessary freight charges to return warranty products to the manufacturer. J & M is not responsible for labor fees accrued from warrantying a part. Items improperly installed, damaged, or misused are not warrantable.

OPEN ACCOUNTS

An open account may be established for dealers who complete a credit application and provide evidence of financial responsibility. Terms are Net 10. Accounts not settled by the 10th are considered delinquent and will accrue finance charges. Accounts that are delinquent over 60 days will be placed on credit card terms. Any returned checks are subject to a service charge and the account will be placed on certified funds, or credit card.

TERMS

U.S.: All orders are shipped credit card unless approved for an open account by J&M Supply.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.

International: All orders must be prepaid in U.S. funds.

SPECIAL ORDERS & DROP SHIPMENTS

Special orders and items shipped directly from the manufacturer are subject to pre-payment. All special orders are final and not eligible for return. Special orders and drop ships may not qualify for prepaid freight and may include additional handling charges. Please contact your sales representative for more information.

CATALOGS

Possession of this catalog does not guarantee nor constitute the right to purchase. New businesses who meet our dealer requirements will receive a catalog. Current dealers are allowed two (2) hard copy catalogs per location. Additional catalogs are available online.

PRICING

Dealer costs are published online. All prices are subject to change without notice.

We update our prices daily on our website.
